AISD, which serves the capital of of Texas, has opened a search for an Ombuds. The incumbent will reestablish a program that has been dormant since the prior Ombuds, Beverly Reeves, stepped down in 2015. The position will provide services to families of 75,000 enrolled students. The job description indicates the position will practice to IOA standards.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree, at least four years of experience, and CO-OP certification. A relevant Master’s degree in a related field and fluency in English and Spanish is preferred. Salary and application deadline not indicated. (AISD Careers.)
