Tarleton State University Announces First Ombuds

Dennis Jones has been selected to serve as the first Faculty Ombuds for the Tarleton, a public research university in Stephenville, Texas, and member of the Texas A&M University System. Jones will provide services to over 600 faculty members following IOA standards. 

Jones is a Professor of Computer Information Systems and has been a member of the faculty since 1992. He also served as a Dean for eight years. Jones graduated from Michigan State University, and earned Master's at Marquette University and Tarleton State University, and an EDD at Texas A&M University at Commerce. (Tarleton Ombuds; LinkedIn.)
