The International Ombudsman Association has announced that Andrew Larratt-Smith, a student at UCLA Law School and the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University, has won the first annual student writing competition for his paper, "An Ethical Privilege: The Case for a Statutory Privilege for the Organizational Ombuds." Larratt-Smith will receive a cash award of $2,500 and has been invited to the IOA Annual Conference in April 2010 to discuss his paper. Prior post: First Annual IOA Student Writing Competition.
