The United Nations Ombudsman and Mediation Services is hiring a Senior Conflict Resolution Officer to be based in Entebbe.  This position heads the Regional Ombudsman's Office and supervises three Conflict Resolution Officers and one Administrative Assistant. The position is currently held by Youssoupha Niang.

Applicants must have advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in a relevant area or equivalent experience; and at least ten years of professional experience.  Experience in alternate dispute resolution, UN work experience, and experience in a high threat / highly hazardous environment are preferred.  For this post, English fluency is required and knowledge of French is desirable.  Applications are due December 29, 2018.
