On the eve of President Obama's decision to expand the jurisdiction of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the regulatory agency announced that it is hiring nine Senior Ombudsman Specialists for its offices in Irvine, Jacksonville and Dallas. The GS-13/14 positions are for renewable, two-year terms and will provide advice and guidance to customers with loans at failed institutions.
