The public, 56,000-student university in Orlando is seeking an experienced Ombuds to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of its first Ombuds, Vicky Brown. The position reports to the university’s vice president and chief of staff and will administer an office comprising an Assistant Ombuds and staff.
Applicants must have a master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience. Experience in conflict resolution and mediation is required.
