The community college in southern Michigan has appointed Leigh Ann Swihart as its first Student Ombudsman. Swihart has served as JCC's Head Coach for volleyball since fall 2007. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in kinesiology, where she began her coaching career in 1999. The website for the new Ombuds office is already online.
