The regional development bank is recruiting an individual with extensive experience and success in conflict resolution to become its first Ombudsperson. The position will report to the ADB President and will follow the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics of the International Ombudsman Association.
Applicants must have a university degree, preferably in social sciences, law or related fields, and at post-graduate level or its equivalent. In addition, applicants should have at least 15 years of successful professional experience in multicultural and international work environment — including a minimum of five years in workplace conflict resolution, excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and international experience working in several countries.
