ABA Announces Fellowship in Dispute Resolution

The American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution will support five young professionals as they embark on or advance a career in alternative dispute resolution. Although there is no stipend, each Fellow will receive significant benefits as part of the year-long program, including:

  • Meaningful professional opportunities around speaking, publishing, and mentorship;
  • Free access to all Section webinars for one year, including CLEs;
  • A subsidized trip to the Section’s Spring Conference, where each Fellow will be recognized for his/her achievements and contributions; and
  • Priceless opportunities to connect and work with Section leadership

Fellows will be expected to leverage their Fellowship to actively participate in ABA and local ADR committees, provide support for Section projects, organize and participate in member benefit webinars, publish in the Section’s e-newsletter, organize and host Mediation Week events, and serve as judges in the Section’s various competitions. The deadline for applications is April 30, 2015.  (ABA Section of Dispute Resolution Fellowship Info.)
