After a two year closure, USF has repoened its Office of the Student Ombudsman with the appointment of Jennifer Schneider in February. Schneider, who had been an Adjunct Instructor in the USF in the College Student Affairs graduate program, will be the Ombuds for a student population of about 48,000.
Schneider's prior experience includes serving as the Career Development Services Coordinator & Instructor for Polk State College, Director of Student Academic Services and Director of Communications at the University of Central Florida, and Academic Advisor at USF. She earned her MA and a PhD in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from USF. (USF Ombuds; LinkedIn.)
