- In light of the university's legal argument (made in its motion to dismiss Caffera's suit) that emails to the Ombuds are not confidential, an anonymous group has filed a public records act request for copies of emails to and from the Acting Ombuds (Twitter @WinstonSmithOMI);
- Another group has launched a fundraising campaign to raise $20,000 to cover Caffera's legal fees (GoFundMe); and
- A reporter with the Chronicle of Higher Education has begun investigating the case.

ReplyDeleteI think the role model for Ol' Miss' management style is more pointed... harkening beyond "clusterf**k mode" and actually drawing inspiration from the nightstick and water cannon used to try to destroy the Civil Rights movement. You can dress Bull Connor up in a suit and a tie, but that doesn't make him any less of a fascist.
