UC Irvine Confirms Interim Campus Ombuds

Jennifer Moumneh, who has been serving as UCI's Interim University Ombudsman and Director, has been promoted to the permanent position. She succeeds Michael Chennault and will manage an office that includes Associate Ombuds Shawn Hutchens and Interim Associate Ombuds Jared Lee.

Moumneh brings nearly two decades conflict resolution and Ombuds experience to the role, including 16 years at UCI. In addition, she worked at UCLA's Office of Ombuds Services and the Institute for Conflict Management. Moumneh is a past president of IOA and currently serves on the Board of Certification for Certified Organizational Ombuds Practitioners. She graduated from UCLA and earned an MDRS at Pepperdine University and an MBA at UCI.
