ENOHE Webinar will Explore Role of Social Media

The European Network of Ombuds in Higher Education will host an online discussion on November 19, 2021.
Four experts will consider the benefits and drawbacks of social media for Ombuds. The webinar, "Social Media, Ombuds Offices and Confidentiality: Friends or Foes?" is free for ENOHE members and reservations are required. Scheduled speakers are:
  • Lies Poesiat, Ombudswoman, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, The Netherlands;
  • Barry McHale, Student Liaison Officer, Office of the Independent Adjudicator, United Kingdom;
  • Ryan Smith, Assistant University Ombudsperson, Office of the University Ombudsperson, Michigan State University, USA;
  • Jorge Antonio Ribero Pereira, Provedor do Estudante, Universidade da Beira Interior, Portugal; and
  • Jean Grier, ENOHE Vice President, Scotland.

Updated 10/22/21: Membership in ENOHE, which costs €100, is required.

  1. This webinar isn't really free because one needs to be a member of ENOHE, which costs 100 Euros per year.
