The Orange County campus of the University of California has opened a search for its next University Ombudsman. The position direct all aspects of the University Ombudsman Office, which serves faculty, staff, and students at the UCI campus in Irvine and the medical center in Orange. Michael Chennault has served in the position since 2007. The office also currently includes Jennifer Moumneh, Senior Associate Ombudsman, Shawn Hutchens, Associate Ombudsman, and Jeanne Fuller, Administrative Analyst.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience or training; management skills including personnel and budget administration; and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the university. An advanced degree in conflict or dispute resolution, and IOA certification are preferred. No salary range or application deadline indicated. (UCI Posting.)
