The public university in Burnaby, Vancouver is hiring a temporary, full-time Associate Ombudsperson. The position will report to the Student Ombudsperson, Laura Reid, and join an office that provides services to over 30,000 students. The job will end October 31, 2022.

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in counselling, JD, LLB, or a related discipline, and at least five years of experience in conflict resolution, mediation, negotiation, human rights, conduct of inquiries, and reporting in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. The position pays $76,473 to $91,324 per year and applications are due October 5, 2021. (SFU Posting.)
