Indiana's community college system, the nation's second-largest community college with 40 campuses, has opened a search for a Student Ombudsperson. (Ivy Tech had a Student Ombudsman from 2010 to about 2013, but the program was discontinued.) The full-time position reports to the Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Services and Student Success and serves a student population of more than 165,000. It will practice to IOA standards.
Applicants must have a Master's degree in a related field and four years of related experience. Ombuds experience, IOA training, and Certified Organizational Ombudsman Practitioner (CO-OP) status are preferred. No salary or closing date indicated. (Ivy Tech Posting.)
