Melluish comes to the position from the UN Food & Agriculture Organization, where she was the Ombuds for four years. She has worked at UN agencies for the past two decades, including as Chief of the Office of Staff Legal Assistance in New York and Legal Advisor to the Director-General in Nairobi.
