WFP is seeking an Ombuds Officer (Outreach & Communication) at the P-4 level for its Office of the Ombudsperson and Mediation Services in Rome. The position reports to the Ombuds, Katya Melluish, and will lead the office's outreach and communication strategy, capacity-building program, and communication campaigns while also providing confidential Ombuds services, including coaching, mediation, and other informal conflict resolution services.
Applicants must have an advanced university degree in conflict resolution, social sciences, law, human resources, organizational development, communications, or a related field (or a first university degree with additional related experience or training), at least eight years of progressively responsible professional experience, and experience with communication strategies, capacity-building programs, and mediation or other informal conflict resolution services consistent with international Ombuds standards.
