The qualifications have changed significantly from the university's 2025 search. The previous posting required five years of full-time Ombuds experience; the new posting requires three years of full-time Ombuds experience or demonstrably equivalent experience in areas including law, conflict management, negotiation and dispute resolution, mediation, or labor relations. The position continues to require a JD from an accredited law school. Applicants must also be willing to become an OCP (formerly CO-OP) as soon as eligible.
