University of Colorado Boulder Names Second Associate Ombuds

CU Boulder has hired Detric Robinson as Associate Ombuds. He joins an Ombuds office led by Director Kirsi Aulin and including Associate Ombuds Jason J. Sinocruz and two Faculty Ombuds. Robinson will provide services to students, staff, faculty, and administrators, and supports outreach efforts, focusing on undergraduate students.

Robinson comes to the position with over a dozen years of experience in higher education. Most recently, he served as Director of Residential Education at the University of Denver. Other positions include Assistant Director for Student Conduct and Community Director and ;residence life positions at Winston-Salem State University and North Carolina State University. Robinson graduated from North Carolina State University and earned a PhD at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. (CU Academic Affairs; LinkedIn.)
