University of Louisville Ombuds Gives First Report

On April 6, 2011, UofL's Ombudsperson Tony Belak gave his first report to the Faculty Senate. Belak said that he had about 30 inquiries during his first six months. About 50 percent have been from faculty, 35 percent from staff and the rest from grad assistants, who are eligible for his services as employees but not for student issues.

Belak also said he and his administrative assistant, Karen Porter, are applying for certification. (UofL Today.)
