Virginia Commonwealth University Ombuds Sponsors National Conflict Resolution Day Event

VCU's new Ombudsperson, William E. King will host a morning conference on October 16 to mark the annual National Conflict Resolution Day.  The event will be highlighted with a keynote presentation by Toni Robinson, the MIT Ombuds.  

Here's the agenda:

  • Panel Discussion -- "Cultivating a Workplace of Respect: Taking Responsibility for Moving the Ball Forward During Conflict" with Kawana Pace-Harding, VCU Deputy Director for Human Resources; Jacqueline Kniska, VCU University Compliance Office; Dr. Wanda Mitchell, VCU Vice President for Inclusive Excellence; Marty Parrish, VCU Associate University Counsel; and Mark Rubin, Executive Director of the Virginia Center for Consensus Building
