University of Cincinnati Promotes Interim Ombuds

Kim Fullbright, who has been the interim UC Ombuds since Lillian Santa Maria retired, has been confirmed for the job.  Here is today's campus announcement from Debra Merchant, Vice President of Student Affairs:


I am pleased to announce Kim Fulbright as the new Director of University Ombuds. Kim has served as the Associate Ombuds for over four years and since June of this year as Interim Ombuds. She is committed to assisting members of the UC community resolve university-related issues. Kim has mediation experience at all levels, and a long service record of collaborating with UC faculty, staff, and students to help overcome conflicts that may impede their success or satisfaction of their Bearcat experience.
Fulbright leads and office that serves about 50,000 students, staff, and faculty, and includes Interim Associate University Ombuds, Haya Abusway,  and two graduate assistants.
