The Ombuds Office at UC Davis has opened a search for a newly created Assistant Ombuds position. This full-time position will provide all visitor intake, represent and promote the office through outreach, coordinate the administrative and financial aspects of the office, assist with the creation of annual reports, and work on strategic initiatives. 

The Assistant Ombuds will report to the Interim Director of the Ombuds Office, Dana Hinojosa, and will serve both the UC Davis and UC Davis Health (Sacramento) communities. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience or training, including completion of IOA's Foundations. Preferred qualifications include experience working in an Ombuds Office; experience working in an academic and/or health care setting or similar work environment; and experience creating and managing website content. The hiring range is $25.10-$51.34 per hour.
