The flagship campus of the UC system has revised its search for an Assistant Ombudsperson. The top end of the annual salary range has been increased $5,000 and the application deadline has been extended. The position is in the Ombuds Office for Students and Postdoctoral Appointees and reports to Director Marcia Gee Riley.
Applicants must have at least three years experience with either Ombuds or student development, conflict resolution, mediation or facilitation. Preferred qualifications include completion of IOA's Foundations course, mediation training, and a related masters degree. The hiring range is $75,000-$90,000. applications should be submitted by January 25, 2019. (UCB Jobs.)
