Tom Lehker, who has served as Michigan's Interim Ombudsman since the retirement of Robert B. Holmes earlier this year, has been appointed as the next Ombuds for the 41,000-student campus.
“We are grateful and excited to officially welcome Tom to his new position as he will be a tremendous asset to Student Affairs,” Vice President for Student Affairs E. Royster Harper said. Lehker has worked for the University of Michigan for 13 years and most recently was Senior Assistant Director for Campus Outreach in the Career Center. He earned his BA at Michigan and a Masters in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. (University Record.)
