The U of C has named Duncan W. McDonald as its new Student Ombudsperson. McDonald earned a masters in conflict analysis and management from
Royal Roads University where his major research project was on the role of Ombuds in higher education. He earned his bachelors from Ambrose University and also studied at the University of Regina.
McDonald previously served as the Student Ombudsperson at Brock University from September 2011 through September 2012. He also was the Minister/CEO of a church in Ontario. Sheldon Roth served as Acting Student Ombudsperson from August 2012 to February 2013. (UCalgary News.)
