Cooper Medical School Names First Ombuds

The public medical school connected to Rowan University in New Jersey has appointed Debrah Meislich as its first Ombuds. Meislich, who is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, provides independent, neutral, confidential, and informal dispute resolution services for 340 medical students.

Meislich attended college and medical school at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1996, she joined the faculty at Cooper Hospital (which later joined with Rowan to create the medical school in 2009). (Cooper Ombuds.)
