In November 2021, Carla Britten was appointed the Ombudsperson for the 20,000 students at the public university in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She reports to the Provost and has restarted a program that was dormant for nearly three years. Britten is familiar with the campus having earned her MSW at Dalhousie in 2020.
