Job Re-Posting: Colorado College

The private liberal arts college in Colorado Springs has re-opened its search for an Ombuds. The search will fill a position held by Paul Kuerbis since 2015. The full-time (30 hrs/wk for 9 months and 20 hrs/wk for 3 months) reports to the Executive Committee of the College's Board of Trustees. The qualifications are not significantly changed from the earlier search that ended in June.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience. A Master’s degree, advanced certification in mediation, conflict or dispute resolution, organizational psychology, or counseling, and prior Ombuds experience are preferred. (A preference for higher ed Ombuds experience and CO-OP have been dropped.) The salary range is $70,000 to $75,000 per year. The position will be open until filled. (CC Posting.)

    It appears that the salary you posted is the 1.0 FTE salary, and what CC pays will be prorated down from that.

      I dunno. The job is described as "full time" in the posting.

      In the job description, it states, "The anticipated pay range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000." And they expect it to be 30 hrs/week for 9 months, and 20 hrs/week for 3 months. "FTE: .682"
