COFO Opens Registration for 2024 Annual Conference

Registration is now open for the 2024 Coalition of Federal Ombuds Annual Conference, which will be held for both in-person and virtual attendees from 9 AM – 5 PM Eastern time on October 25, 2024. The in-person portion of the conference will be held at the Clara Barton Auditorium at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, VA. Registration is free.

Registration for both virtual and in-person attendance will close at 3 PM Eastern time on October 24, 2024. As always, the conference is open to all. The agenda is primarily aimed at federal Ombuds practitioners of all models, but includes information and sessions which may be of interest to Ombuds and ADR practitioners anywhere, as well as those interested in other fields. The final agenda will be confirmed and publicized shortly, and a post-conference happy hour will be held nearby in Alexandria after the conclusion of the conference day. Organizational Ombuds

Organizational Ombuds serve as a confidential, independent, neutral and informal dispute resolution resource for a specific entity. They are accessible to a defined population and can advocate for fairness. These unique characteristics distinguish Organizational Ombuds from Classical Ombuds, mediators, arbitrators, and other alternative dispute resolution professionals.
