Meet the Ombuds for Amnesty International, Italy

In December 2023, Vittorio Indovina became the Organizational Ombudsperson for Amnesty International Italia. As a contractor for the international non-governmental human rights organization, he developing an Ombuds program and is providing dispute resolution services to staff in discrimination and harassment cases and other interpersonal conflicts. 

Indovina has worked as a mediator and ADR expert since 2011, primarily in Italy. In addition to his current work with Amnesty, he is also a lecturer at The University of the West Indies in Barbados. He earned his JD at the University of Milano-Bicocca, a Master's in Business Law at the University of Bergamo, a LLM in Dispute Resolution at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and PhD in International Conflict Management at Kennesaw State University. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree at the (Italy). His post-graduate educational background comprehends degrees obtained both in Italy and the USA.
