Duke University Hires Associate Ombuds

Marlo Goldstein Hode has been selected as the Associate Ombuds for the private university in Durham, North Carolina. She joins University Ombuds, Jessica Kuchta-Miller, CO-OP, and serve all faculty, staff, and students. 

Hode comes to the position from the University of Missouri St. Louis, where she was the Senior Manager for Strategic Diversity Initiatives as the University of Missouri St. Louis. She also served as the Staff Ombuds for UMSL for a little over a year. In total, she has three decades of experience in adult education, training, conflict resolution, diversity and inclusion, intercultural communication, and project management. She graduated from North Carolina State University, earned an MA at University of Maryland Baltimore County, and an LLM and PhD from University of Missouri-Columbia. (LinkedIn.)
