University of Warsaw Confirms Ombuds
Magdalena Miksa has been appointed to a three-year term as the Academic Ombudsman for Uniwersytet Warszawski, Poland's largest university. For the past year, she has served as the acting University Ombudsman, following Anna Cybulko in the position. Miksa previously served as the Deputy Academic Ombudsman for Student Affairs and as the Anti-Mobbing Coordinator since 2018.
Miksa is a lawyer, certified trainer, and mediator. She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and completed Postgraduate Studies in Negotiation, Mediation, and Other Alternative Dispute Resolution at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. She has also been a speaker at recent ENOHE conferences. (UW News.)
