Getting the Most Out of a Conference

Lifehacker has a timely query for its readers: "How Do You Make Conferences Worth the Trip and Time?" The many responses may be valuable to anyone attending the IOA conference in Boston next week. A sample of early answers:
  • Network at the food table.
  • I bring my workout gear, my ipod, and a bunch of blank expense sheets.
  • At the very least, speak up during the question-and-answer portions of the program.
  • Approach others with the idea of helping THEM.
  • Follow up immediately after the conference.
  • At the event, make connections for others.
