The public research university is hiring its first Ombuds. The jointly-funded position will serve as an independent, impartial and confidential resource for nearly 30,000 students and will make recommendations, where appropriate, for changes in University policies and procedures. Candidates must have a degree or diploma or ample experience in conflict resolution/management (a legal background will be considered an asset) and experience working in a university environment or with diverse groups of people.
