The private liberal arts college reopened its Ombuds Office with the appointment of Carol Stewart as Ombudsperson on August 25, 2009. Stewart will continue as Ombuds for two of the other members of the Five College Consortium: Mount Holyoke College and Hampshire College. She received her MA in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and earned her BA in Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
