Vicky Brown attended UCF's annual staff event in August, expecting to be recognized for her 20 years of service to the University (16½ years as the Ombuds). To her surprise, she was named the administrative and professional employee of the year.
The Gabor Administrative & Professional Excellence Award recognized Brown's outstanding job performance and the support of her University coworkers. (Fellow Ombuds know her years of work on many UCOA and IOA committees and service as a Director of IOA.) UCF President John Hitt presented Brown with a beautiful glass trophy and a check for $2,500.
