Innovative Educators, a training provider for higher education professionals, will offer a webinar on "Starting An Ombuds Program As A Restorative Justice Tool For The College Campus." The seminar is presented by Casey Sacks, PhD, and takes place on August 2.
According to the program description,
This webinar focuses on restorative justice in education as it has been applied and then challenges participants to consider an Ombuds model to use [restorative justice] in a wider variety of settings on their campuses. By examining national standards for Ombuds programs participants are encouraged to apply a similar model to their campuses to improve the communities in which they learn and work.
Sacks works at the Colorado Community College System office in Academic Affairs. (Innovative Educators.)
