The
secular, private university in Lebanon has re-opened the search for its
first Ombuds. Reporting to AUB's president, the Ombuds will establish an
office to provide a neutral, impartial, confidential, and informal
assistance on university-related concerns or disputes, including recipients of health care services.
In
addition to an advanced degree in a relevant field and substantial
experience as an institutional Ombuds and/or conflict resolution
practitioner in an academic or institutional environment, applicants
should be fluent in both English and Arabic. The new application deadline is November 14, 2013. No salary indicated. (AUB Human Resources.)
