Asian Development Bank Appoints Ombuds

The regional development bank headquartered in Manila has hired Nick Diehl to serve as its Ombudsperson, filling a position since the summer.  Diehl reports to the ADB President and functions as an informal grievance resource for staff members with work place concerns.

Most recently, Diehl was the Deputy Ombudsman for the American Red Cross and he is the Immediate Past President of IOA.  Diehl also served as an Ombuds for the National Institutes of Health and Princeton University.  Diehl earned master's degrees from the University of North Carolina in conflict analysis and resolution and from American University/NTL in conflict analysis and resolution and in organization development.
