The public land-grant university in Blacksburg is hiring a Graduate Student Ombudsperson. Reporting to the Vice President and Dean for Graduate Education, the position serves about 6,500 graduate students.
The full-time position is classified as a Lecturer.
Applicants must have a master’s degree in a related area; work experience in higher education; and conflict resolution or mediation skills. Review of applications begins May 25, 2015. (VT Jobs.)
Ennis McCrery, the current VT Ombuds, established the position in early 2007. She has been very active with IOA and is an Associate Editor of the Journal of IOA.
