The Canadian Crown corporation that administers the federally owned lands and buildings in the National Capital Region is requesting proposals for the provision of Ombudsman related responsibilities in accordance with the Terms of Reference.
The NCC Ombudsman "provides members of the public, in the official language of their choice, with an independent, confidential, neutral, fair and equitable mechanism for resolving complaints, when all other redress avenues have been exhausted." The NCC created its Ombuds program in 2009 and the position has been held by Ellen Fry for the past five years.
Proposals are due by 3:00 pm Ottawa time on March 1st, 2017. (FCO Posting; NCC Ombuds.)
