The Ombuds Office for Students and Postdoctoral Appointees at Berkeley is hiring an Assistant Ombudsperson for an 11-month appointment. The position will report to Marcia G. Riley, Director and Ombudsperson, and fill in for Sunny Lee, Assistant Ombudsperson.
Applicants must have at least three years of experience with either Ombuds or student development, conflict resolution, mediation or facilitation, and a bachelors degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Preferred qualifications include completion of IOA's Foundations of Organizational Ombuds Practice; an introductory mediation course, or a masters degree in a related field. The salary range is $75,000-85,000 and applications are due by July 19, 2017. (UC Berkeley Jobs.)
