The public research university in Hamilton, Ontario, is hiring an Assistant Ombuds. The full-time position reports to University Ombuds Carolyn Brendon and serves as a resource for 43,000 students, faculty, and staff members with student-related issues. The Assistant Ombuds performs a variety of administrative, operational and communication tasks.
Applicants must have a college degree and two years experience in a student-facing role or equivalent, and broad knowledge of the University’s and MSU’s organizational structures, policies, and procedures.
