The FBI is seeking a full-time, permanent Associate Organizational Ombuds — a rare exemption from the current federal hiring freeze. The position will join an office that provides services to Bureau employees with workplace issues and concerns, and follows IOA standards.
The position is open to all U.S. citizens, but applicants must be able to obtain a Top Secret-SCI clearance. In addition, federal employees who opted into the Deferred Resignation Program must resign prior to appointment in their new position. Applicants will be evaluated on the following competencies: Conflict Management; Initiative; Interpersonal Ability; Leadership; and Organizing & Planning. The GS-14 job pays a base salary of $106,382 to $138,296 per year and applications are due by August 28, 2025. (FBI Jobs.)
