IOA Opens 2018 Board Elections with Large Slate of Candidates

The International Ombudsman Association has opened voting for its 2018 Board of Directors. Nine candidates are on the ballot, which will fill six open seats on the board. This is the greatest number of candidates since 2009.

As it has in the past, the Ombuds Blog provides links to prior posts about the candidates to supplement the official ballot statements, but does not endorse any candidates in particular:

Current board members Teresa Ralicki is not running for re-election and Ilene Butensky is termed out. Voting is open only to IOA members and ends on January 31, 2018. The election results will be announced formally in April 2018.

  1. I'm bummed to see Teresa Ralicki isn't running for re-election - I've been impressed by her. Many thanks and best wishes to both her and Ilene for their service on the board, and good luck to all the candidates. I've enjoyed reading your statements and am grateful for your willingness to serve.
