Save the Date: Ombuds Day 2018

Organizers of the very first "Ombuds Day" are seeking help: with an in-person launch in DC; coordination of an online campaign; and/or creating shared materials for Ombuds to use for their own events. The goal is for all Ombuds to create their own synchronized celebrations or events worldwide.
For now:

• Save the Date -- The second Thursday of October, which happens to be October 11, 2018.

• Think About Your Own Event -- Ombuds Day is an opportunity to celebrate and show pride for the growing and evolving profession. It is a day designated to raising awareness of the Ombuds profession, the different types of Ombuds, the roles they play, and the services they provide.

• Plan to Help -- The launch will take place on October 11, 2018 in Washington D.C. Organizers welcome volunteers to help orchestrate the in-person event, the online campaign, and develop materials Ombuds may use worldwide to facilitate their own events.
