Mark your calendars. The U.S. Department of Justice office that oversees immigration courts will be hiring its first Ombudsperson. As Program Manager, the position will head the Office of the Ombudsperson/Dispute Resolution within the EOIR Office of the Director.
Based in Falls, Church, VA, the EOIR Ombuds will work with almost 3,000 staff members in 29 states and territories. Some travel (up to 15%) is expected.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and be able to obtain a security clearance. The GS-14/15 position pays $128,082-$160,300. The application period opens October 5 and closes October 26, 2016. (USA Jobs.)
