Mount Holyoke College has named Vivian Hsu, a local employment attorney, as its next Ombudsperson. For the past 22 years, Hsu has been in private practice, specializing in employment law counseling, training programs, and mediation for a wide range of clients. In her new, part-time position, she will provide Ombuds services for all members of the Mount Holyoke campus community.
Before her years in private practice, Hsu worked as an attorney for Motorola and WGBH. Sheis a faculty member for the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination Certified Discrimination Prevention Training Program and has served as a neutral for the American Arbitration Association. Her board leadership experience includes the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association Board of Directors, the NAPABA Law Foundation, and the Town of Needham.
